›› 100 years of passion
On December 15th, 1909, Ettore Bugatti set up operations in a disused dyeing factory in Molsheim (Alsace), 20 km from Strasbourg. He had just ended his contract with Deutz and decided to produce cars of his own design.
The Type 13 went into production in January 1910, already bearing the celebrated Bugatti trademark horseshoe radiators. It was the start of a success story which is still continuing today, 100 years later with the Veyron.
As the main centenary events organized in France and abroad draw to a close, the Autoworld car museum in Brussels has chosen this anniversary period to bring together in one place more than 35 incomparable – not to say iconic – cars that have helped to create the Bugatti legend.
